Raiffeisen Bank is the largest bank in the country, holding the number one position in all major key performance indicators. Raiffeisen has been represented in the Albanian market since 2004 by Raiffeisen Bank Sh.a., which was founded in 1992 as Banka e Kursimeve e Shqipërisë. The bank’s loan portfolio was about € 916 million at the end of 2013, while deposits at the same period amounted to € 1.76 billion.
 

Raiffeisen Bank offers the full range of banking products and services in the key business sectors in which it operates, namely private individuals, micro, small and corporate business as well as affluent customers. Raiffeisen has the widest branch network in Albania with 104 locations; more than 1,370 employees serve about 720,000 customers.
 

Established in 2006, subsidiary Raiffeisen Leasing Sh.a. successfully defended its leading market position during 2013. In 2011, the bank’s subsidiary Raiffeisen Pensions was licensed to investment funds and was renamed Raiffeisen Invest. Raiffeisen Invest is the first such company in Albania, and Raiffeisen Prestigj and Raiffeisen Invest are the first investment funds in the market.
 

Raiffeisen Bank was named “Best Bank in Albania” by EMEA Finance and Global Finance in 2013.
