Founded as Unicbank in 1986, Raiffeisen Bank Zrt. was Hungary’s sixth-largest bank at the end of 2010. At the same time, it is one of the largest banks in Raiffeisen Bank International’s network. At the end of 2010, it had 641,000 customers. The number includes not only private individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises, but also a large number of corporate customers. At year-end, loans to customers amounted to about € 6.3 billion, while deposits from customers came to € 4.8 billion. The balance sheet total stood at € 8.5 billion.
In 2010, Raiffeisen Bank focused mainly on active customer relationship management based on an innovative and extensive product range.
