Priorbank JSC was founded in 1989 as commercial bank and was acquired by Raiffeisen in 2003. At the end of 2010, Raiffeisen Bank International’s holding in the bank amounted to about 88 per cent. The remaining shares were in free float. Measured in terms of balance sheet total, it ranked fifth in the local banking market and offered all services of a modern universal bank.
 
In 2010, Raiffeisen had a countrywide distribution network of 96 business outlets and 2,204 employees serving 833,000 customers. The loan portfolio amounted to € 1,1 million, with a balance sheet total of € 1.5 billion. Set against the loan portfolio were customer deposits of € 854 million.

SOOO Raiffeisen Leasing, co-operating closely with Priorbank's branch network, maintained its market position in 2010 as the country’s third-largest leasing company.
