In May 2025, RBI proudly took part in and sponsored ICC Austria’s International Trade Finance Week in Vienna. This flagship event brought together over 400 trade finance professionals from more than 35 countries for a week full of expert insights, exchanges, and networking.

Jointly with our long-standing partner European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), we led the panel “Sustainability in Trade Finance: Shades of Green”. One of the key questions addressed was whether sustainability is a luxury problem of developed markets or a global imperative. We explored how commercial and development banks approach sustainable trade finance—where our strategies align, where they differ, and how both perspectives can support clients on their green transition journeys.

RBI is firmly committed to sustainability and has established itself as an ESG pioneer in Central and Eastern Europe. We are proud to offer our trade finance solutions in a sustainable format, helping to accelerate the green transition of our corporate and institutional clients.
