Albertina Preview Gala: Farewell to Peter Lennkh

An experience money can’t buy: On 12 September 2023, around 200 customers and partners of RBI had the unique opportunity to preview the upcoming Albertina exhibition before its official opening date.

During this year’s iteration of this exclusive experience, our guests were able to see "Michelangelo and beyond" at the Viennese Albertina Museum. At the exhibition, which invites visitors to immerse themselves in the world of the most important artist of the Renaissance, the participants learned first-hand about the profound influence Michelangelo’s groundbreaking depictions of the human body have had. 

After previewing the exhibition guided by art agents, the guests enjoyed a gala dinner on the Albertina terrace – normally closed to the public. Among those present were CEOs and CFOs of clients like voestalpine, Agrana or Swietelsky. 

In addition to the exhibition, there was another emotional highlight: Following his departure from the RBI Managing Board, Peter Lennkh, RBI Board Member for Corporate Banking, was given a warm farewell by Erwin Hameseder, Advocate General of the Austrian Raiffeisen Association and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RBI, and Johann Strobl, CEO of Raiffeisen Bank International. In recognition of his outstanding contributions and commitment, Peter Lennkh was honored with the prestigious Raiffeisen pin. Furthermore, Finance Minister Magnus Brunner awarded him the Golden Decoration of Honor for Services to the Republic of Austria, a well-deserved acknowledgement of his commitment and remarkable achievements throughout his career.
