A look back on Euromoney Conference 2024

Two weeks ago, Euromoney’s Central & Eastern European Forum was held again in Vienna, and it was one for the books: With 1600+ participants, it was Euromoney’s most-visited event so far, further strengthening our CEE bridging function.

It was a great pleasure for us at Raiffeisen Bank International to be very prominently represented again at the Euromoney CEE Forum on 16-17 January 2024.

With 1600+ participants, it was Euromoney’s most-visited event so far – but it’s also a key event for us, further strengthening our bridging function to and from CEE and giving us the opportunity to meet so many clients and business partners on our home turf.

Łukasz Januszewski, Board Member for Markets and Investment Banking, and Martin Blum, Head of Capital Markets Strategy, participated in high-level paneldiscussions on the topics "2024: Will it be a good year to be a bank?" and "Sustainable Capital Markets".

Our workshop, "Navigating CEE MREL markets for issuers and investors," moderated by Harald Müller, Head of Capital Markets, featured valuable insights from industry experts including Radu Gheorghiu, Pavol Kiralvarga, CFA, Etleva Koka, and Ruslan Gadeev, CFA.

We also had a full house at our already traditional RBI Drinks Reception on Tuesday evening, which was opened by RBI Board Members Valerie Brunner and Łukasz Januszewski, welcoming more than 600 attendees.
As part of the Euromoney side events, the Securitization Summit took place, where our CFO Sabine Abfalter delivered a speech on RBI Group’s Securitization Activities since 2006.

All in all, the forum was a big success and our institutional clients and corporate relationship managers and product experts were very busy having conversations with existing and soon new business partners.
