Performance Highlights

On July 25, Verdi's Rigoletto captivated audiences with Luca Salsi's poignant portrayal and Julia Muzychenko's haunting Gilda. Their duet "Si, vendetta, tremenda vendetta" drew enthusiastic applause. Iván Ayón Rivas impressed as the Duke with "La donna è mobile," while the ensemble cast enhanced the performance. Conducted by Asher Fisch, the Tiroler Festspiele Erl orchestra delivered a powerful interpretation, forging a strong connection with the audience.

The evening of July 26 featured a sensational semi-staged concert performance of Giuseppe Verdi's Il Trovatore, completing the impressive Trilogia Populare under the direction of star tenor Jonas Kaufmann. The cast delivered their roles with authenticity, supported by a captivating orchestral sound. The evening concluded with standing ovations, marking another success for the festival.

Pre-Show and Dining Experiences

Before each performance, our guests enjoyed a cocktail reception at the Festspielhaus. The relaxed yet festive atmosphere provided ample opportunity for engaging conversations and sharing expectations for the upcoming evening's performance. 

Another highlight of the weekend was the dinner at the Blaue Quelle after the performances. The restaurant impressed with a carefully curated menu that complemented the artistic journey of the evening and showcased Tyrolean cuisine at its finest – a perfect setting to wrap up the successful Festspiele Erl 2025.
