Under the crystal chandeliers of The Savoy Hotel, a room of industry leaders paused to applaud more than a trophy — they celebrated the quiet, relentless work that turns complex custody into dependable client outcomes. Last Thursday, Raiffeisen Bank International was named Best Custodian in Central & Eastern Europe at the Global Custodian Awards Dinner in London. It was not a moment of surprise, but a moment of recognition for a model that simply works: a fully integrated, end‑to‑end setup where Business, Operations and IT move as one.

Three formally dressed professionals pose together at an awards event. The central figure stands between two colleagues while one person holds a clear glass trophy. They are positioned in front of a step-and-repeat backdrop featuring the repeated text 'Leaders in Custody Awards.' The scene suggests a corporate recognition ceremony with a celebratory yet professional atmosphere.

This award is a story of hundreds of small decisions adding up to big reliability. It’s the morning‑after trade reconciliations, the cross‑border settlements handled without a hitch, and the technology fixes that never make the headlines but keep our clients’ ambitions on track. It’s the trust clients place in us — and the teams who deliver on that trust day after day.

Multiple faceted crystal awards are arranged in neat rows on a dark tablecloth. The trophies catch the light, creating reflections and prismatic color highlights across their surfaces. Soft purple and blue lighting enhances the glassy texture and gives the scene a celebratory atmosphere. The background is slightly out of focus, keeping attention on the shimmering award shapes in the foreground.

Tonight’s spotlight deserves a special mention: Raiffeisen Ukraine and Bohdana Yefremova. In the face of unique challenges, Bohdana’s leadership and unwavering commitment have been pivotal in turning resilience into results. Her work and the dedication of colleagues across Ukraine exemplify how local strength fuels regional excellence. Big shoutout to Bohdana for being named the Industry Legend.
