Your Development

Personal and professional development are an important part of the RBI culture. We have designed four career paths to make sure everyone can shine at what they are best at.

Where do you want to be tomorrow?

Specialist career

When you think about your career plans, do you aim to become an authority in a particular field? Or would you like to investigate new specialist areas as time goes on? We put a lot of time and effort into supporting specialist career paths – via in-house and external training courses, learning on the job, job rotations or mentoring programmes.

  • Vertical career
Within your specialist area, your career development takes you from junior through professional to senior positions.
  • Lateral career
You develop within a single specialist department in which you demonstrate your potential.
  • Cross-departmental career
You switch specialist departments and follow a range of different career paths.

Management career

Would you like to lead and enthuse people? We need the right management talent in the right position at the right time. Our talent management and succession planning systems help in achieving this. Exciting management duties await you – across all the group units and also in other countries.

  • The management competences that we are looking for: you assume responsibility, make decisions and develop teams and people.
  • Leadership development: we support you via our own programmes, coaching, 360 degree feedback and mentoring.

International opportunities

Do you like the idea of getting to know how RBI operates in one of our 12 CEE countries? We love to give our staff opportunities like this. What better way to experience openness, diversity and mutual respect than on an international deployment? We offer the following ways for you to gain international experience:

  • Business trips abroad
  • Project work assignments
  • Secondments

Talent management

How exactly can you make a career for yourself at RBI? We evaluate our employees' potential at regular intervals and invest in fostering our talent. We identify four groups of talented individuals at RBI.

  • Young Talents: juniors or professionals who have been with the company for around three years
  • Professional Talents: professionals who have the potential to take on a more senior specialist position
  • Emerging Leadership Talents: professionals or seniors with management potential
  • Leadership Talent: manager with the potential to take on a more senior leadership position
