The future belongs to the makers - never quit, strive forward!
After leaving Kyiv and letting my emotions settle, I’m reflecting on learnings of our recent visit to Ukraine together with Valerie Brunner and Michael Höllerer.

Under the leadership of Natalya Gurina, more than 5,000 employees in Ukraine are doing an extraordinary job every single day. What left me speechless was their spirit of innovation, their strong customer focus, entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to digitalization – combined with an exceptional team spirit.
There hasn’t been a single day of service interruption since the beginning of the war - a society under enormous pressure and still moving forward.
Raiffeisen Bank Ukraine is more than just a bank. Beyond rebuilding Kindergartens with the initiative “Kids safe Haven” and hospitals with the initiative “Oberig”, they have opened shelters as warm and safe spaces for people in need.
Ukraine is not only rebuilding itself – it is reinventing itself! As Raiffeisen Bank International AG, we are proud to support this effort through our initiative Rebuilding With Ukraine. As part of this commitment, we have signed a Memorandum to support the financing of energy reconstruction.
What remains most inspiring is the incredible drive of the people.
