Wings for Life

RBI is proud to support the Wings for Life World Run, which took place on 4 May 2025. At this unique event, everyone starts at the same time, worldwide. 

Wings for Life

RBI is proud to support the Wings for Life World Run, taking place on May 4th, 2025. At this unique event, everyone starts at the same time, worldwide. Professional athletes, fun runners and total beginners experience a challenge together without a finish line. The Catcher Car begins its pursuit 30 minutes after the start, passing runners and wheelchair users one after the other until the race is over. 100% of the registration fees and donations go directly to research aimed at curing spinal cord injuries.

Our national partnership covers Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Kosovo, to raise awareness for the importance of spinal cord research in these RBI markets and enables employees from our network banks to actively participate in the run, showcasing their team spirit and driving positive changes in society.

EHF Champions League

To round off our sponsorship portfolio, RBI is a proud partner of the EHF Champions League Women and the Machineseeker EHF Champions League. Supporting both the men's and women's competitions is in line with our strategy and underlines our commitment to equality and diversity in sport.

Handball was identified as the sport with the best reach in our RBI markets. This was particularly evident in the top markets of Romania and Hungary. The EHF Champions League spans 10 months of the year, ensuring continuous visibility throughout the year. Through our sponsorship, we want to strengthen the sporting community and offer our customers and employees unforgettable experiences.

IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship

Raiffeisen Bank International has been a sponsor of the IIHF Ice Hockey Championship since 2007.
Due to the great popularity of ice hockey and its status as a national sport in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the World Championship is also a unique fit with the RBI markets.

RBI is proud to be a sponsor of the dance company Ich bin O.K., which enables people with and without disabilities to participate in cultural life.

RBI is proud to be a sponsor of the dance company “Ich bin O.K.”, which enables people with and without disabilities to participate in cultural life. Based in Vienna, the dance company offers numerous performances in Austria and abroad, creating a platform for diversity and inclusion through art and dance. For several years now, a dance couple from the “Ich bin O.K.” Dance Company has taken part in the famous Vienna Opera Ball and contributes to the visibility of dancers with disabilities in society.

Through our sponsorship, we want to strengthen social inclusion and diversity in cultural life. “Ich bin O.K.” not only provides a stage for those who take part, but also trains young dancers to become dance teachers themselves and pass on their knowledge. With currently around 100 members, the dance association actively promotes exchange and awareness of socio-politically relevant topics.

The Albertina Modern will present Damien Hirst's lesser-known drawings for the first time in a museum setting, offering insight into his creative processes since the 1980s, alongside related sculptures and paintings, while highlighting his conceptual approach to drawing, his ambitious project "Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable," and interactive installations like "Making Beautiful Drawings," ultimately providing a fresh perspective on the essential role of drawing in Hirst's artistic vision.

As a cooperation partner, Raiffeisen Bank International supports the digitisation and restoration work of the Austrian National Library in order to ensure that these cultural treasures can also be preserved and admired for future generations.

The Summer Night Concert is considered the philharmonic highlight of the year and thrills thousands of music lovers with first-class music by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
